Brandon at River Valley Ford in Mission, BC delivered an exceptional purchasing experience for our new Ford Maverick XLT. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and consistently straightforward throughout the process. His professionalism & clear communication made the entire transaction smooth and easy as we had travelled f/ Victoria to purchase the vehicle. Would recommend Brandon to anyone looking for a reliable and customer‑focused sales professional.
Extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience.
I placed a $2,500 “non-refundable” deposit on a 2025 Mustang Mach-E Premium and was actively moving forward with the purchase in good faith.
On Tuesday, I was told there was another interested buyer and that I would receive a call back within the hour. That call never came. Instead, on Friday evening, I was informed the vehicle had been sold.
There was no written deadline. No formal cancellation. No clear communication that the vehicle would be released. Just silence — followed by “it’s sold.”
When I raised concerns, manager Taran Saroya stated he “didn’t care” and that he just wanted the car gone. That response alone reflects the level of professionalism and customer respect here.
After selling the vehicle, the dealership offered to refund the so-called “non-refundable” deposit. If a deposit is truly non-refundable, policies should not suddenly change once it becomes inconvenient.
I requested they honor the agreed pricing on an identical unit. That was refused.
There was also pressure to finance the vehicle instead of proceeding with my preferred payment method.
For a major purchase, this level of communication and accountability is unacceptable. Buyers should proceed very carefully and ensure every promise is documented in writing.
I have recently bought a Mustang Mach-e from this dealership. The service is great when they want to sell you something, very responsive, attending your calls, etc. Once they have you sign the contract and you get the car out of the dealer, good luck getting anyone to respond to any inquiries. Also, when they promise you anything, any perks, whatever they offer you free of charge, make sure you got it in writing, that is, when they print out the copy of your contract make sure it is the same as their original in file. Take the time to go through it and match it with the original. I signed some papers, trusted them to have printed out everything and handed the whole file to me but now, when I want to claim what they promised, the paper I signed it's not in my copy. How convenient isn't it. They're saying, "if you didn't get it on writing then we don't know we promised it." Well, I signed the papers, they just did not make and give me the copy so nothing to be done, except warning you. Please, go to a different dealership and always check your copy with the original to make sure you have the whole thing matching.
I just had a wonderful experience with Dave!
He was a pro and totally took care of us start to finish. His Boss Robbie was wonderful as well and Melissa in finance was an absolute Gem! I'd refer any family and friends to Dave and his Crew down here at River Valley Ford in Mission!
Amazing experience from start to finish!
I had such a positive experience purchasing my new vehicle. Prahb was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. He truly listened to my situation, never pressured me, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident every step of the way. The whole experience was smooth, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable. I’m so happy with my new vehicle and would highly recommend Prahb and this dealership to anyone looking for outstanding service.
Needing specifically OEM parts, and recently opened I was skeptical of them being able to accommodate my needs. Having dealt with Emry at the Parts counter, I am super satisfied with how they were not just helpful, but personable and very accommodating. I asked alot of questions, and never felt as if I was bothering them. I would def recommend dealing with them for anyone who needs any parts for their Ford, no matter the age of your vehicle. I even returned some parts, and it was a painless experience. These guys are GREAT!
I recently purchased a Ford vehicle for my daughter from Ford Branch River Valley in Mission, and I truly had an excellent experience. I was very impressed by how helpful and patient the staff were throughout the entire process.
I would especially like to thank Robby Saran for his great support, as well as Christina Anderson, who assisted us with the financial process in a very professional and kind manner. I’m also grateful to Chrystal, who guided us through the finance department and provided helpful explanations every step of the way.
And of course, a very special thank-you to Lexi. She was incredibly sweet, friendly, and supportive from the beginning to the very end. She helped us make the right choice and made the whole experience comfortable and easy.
I sincerely wish all of them continued success, and I truly appreciate the wonderful service we received.
I went here to look at SUVs. After saying I wanted to walk around the lot, they brought me inside and tried to sit me down and talk with me, when that wasnt what I wanted to do.
I then looked at a vehicle that I liked, but made it clear I wouldn't be buying anything that day. They tried to pressure me into buying the vehicle anyways and putting it deposit down on it because apparently other people wanted the vehicle. As soon as they told me someone else wanted it in my head.I thought, okay. Let them have it.I don't care. The thing I hate the most is being pressured by pushy salesman. Except.
I didn't think it was the salesman who was being pushy. I felt like it was his bosses.
I ended up leaving after talking to my dad, who was helping me buy the car. And I found a better vehicle elsewhere for half the price and sold my old vehicle privately.
I have since had to block three different numbers from this company as they won't stop calling me. If they can't figure out that no response is a response that says a lot about the management there.
I will never sell or buy a vehicle to or from this company. If they are this pushy, when I didn't even buy a vehicle from them, imagine what they'd be like if my car ever needed to be serviced.
I had service done on my truck I told the service personnel to be careful with the rims when I got my truck back the rims were damaged from the impact gun. I had brakes done new rotors and brake pads right side uneven wear from a faulty brake pad even after changing the rotor and pad problem persists seems like the brake pads not clamping evenly getting a jolt when stopping or when braking at high speed. The resolve service personnel offered to fix two rims not all four and no effort to revolve why the brakes are sticking and wearing uneven . The dealership ended up repairing all 4 rims. Had they gone to their most experienced technician Carter would have saved myself and the dealership the hasel and run around. Carter was able to pin point the jolt problem during the ride along and appropriate repairs were done to fix the jolt problem I highly recommend Carter for future repairs unfortunately the dealership does not want me back as a client 🤦🏻♂️
I had an amazing experience working with Brandon! He was friendly, professional, and really went above and beyond to make the car-buying process smooth and stress-free. He took the time to answer all my questions, was never pushy, and made sure I found the perfect vehicle that fit my needs and budget. Highly recommend Brandon to anyone looking for a great, trustworthy salesperson!
Picked up my 2025 Ford Escape from River Valley Ford and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Eric and Tej were awesome to deal with — super easygoing, helpful, and made the whole process really smooth. No pressure at all, just genuine people who know their stuff.
If you’re thinking about getting into a new Ford, definitely go see these guys. They’ll take good care of you.
PS: Check out the new store, its amazing.
So glad I drove by! I had no idea mission got a new ford dealership, I popped by and they had a great selection of inventory. I ended up upgrading my ford escape to a brand new one, I feel that I got a great deal and that my time was respected aswell. If you are in the market for a vehicle i would 10/10 recommend river valley ford! Thank you for the positive experience.
I worked with JP shopping for my 17 year old daughters first vehicle. I have to say JP was very professional and helpful despite the rest of this review. I wanted to perform a pre-purchase inspection prior to negotiating a deal and was informed by JP that the new ownership of the JAG group will not allow 3rd party inspections. I spoke with the GM and he sent me the inspection report that was performed in house. He also assured me that his technicians are very thorough and detailed in their inspections and it was not necessary to confirm their findings as they stand behind their inspection. We were able to negotiate a deal (again no complaints about JP) and I brought the vehicle to a shop for an assessment the day of purchase. The shop immediately identified burnt transmission fluid previously identified as clean and clear by River Valley Ford as well as an obvious substantial oil leak from the timing cover. Repair of the timing cover leak is in excess of $1100 and a transmission fluid exchange is $300. I have left over half a dozen messages with the GM over the last 3 weeks as he is unable or unwilling to take my calls and have yet to receive a call back to address these deficiencies. I would recommend insisting on a 3rd party prepurchase inspection prior to negotiating with River Valley Ford as their inspections cannot be trusted and the lack of response suggests they were likely aware of these issues despite giving the vehicle a clean bill of health.
