I recently brought my 2024 Jeep Wrangler to Harris Dodge for service, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The problem was the engine fan running constantly. Code indicated a bad temp sensor. Vehicle is under warranty so took it in to Harris Dodge. Turns out the problem was that a mouse had chewed through a wire located on the top of the engine under a plastic cover held on by two bolts. Ok no warranty, I get it, how much to fix. I'm quoted, $700 before taxes. I said "Pardon?" To fix a broken wire? This isn't some complicated heat shielded NASA braided data cable, its two 22ga wires to a plug on a sensor. I said no, I'll fix it myself. It still cost me $240 for the diagnostic to remove two bolts and a plastic cover. You'd think the least they could do was have the lot guy give it a quick wash, nope. Plus it still had all the disposable paper floor mats and plastic seat covers in it. I gave those to the salesman on the lot. I get it home take the cover off and discover the mouse nest of sticks, leaves and moss still sitting on top of the engine! You'd think for $240 the mechanic could have removed that, nope. It took me 40 minutes to pull out my tools, solder and waterproof the connection and put everything back. This included clearing the check engine light. Problem solved. Oh, that also included removing the mouse nest. The impression I got from this whole experience was that because I didn't agree to the outrageous $700+ fix nobody was gonna do anything more than they had to. This is not the recipe for having customers come back to you, unless you think you are the only game in town.
This is my third bad experience with the service department at Harris so I felt compelled to finally write a review. Not to mention the relentless emails and phone calls from the Harris sales staff trying to upsell me to buy, trade, swap, push, pull , drag any or all of my Dodge products. It's enough to make you want to go buy a Ford!

I recently got some major services done on my vw jetta. This is the best place on the island for your car maintenance. Everything got so smooth, and even they gave a quick wash to the car after the job done.

I recently bought a 2026 Cherokee hybrid. I shopped around a lot until I found the exact vehicle I wanted in stock and turned to Harris who gave me the deal I wanted. They were great to deal with. Had a pleasant and relaxed buying experience with Jack. I decided to purchase a truck from Harris in spite of living on the mainland. Jack was thorough in answering questions about the vehicle, transparent in his pricing and the structure of the deal, and was clear in his communication. He understood the nuances of purchasing a vehicle that is unable to be seen and went the extra mile on phone calls and correspondence to ensure I had the info I needed to make a confident decision. Sales manager Tom, Finance Manager Shannon, and Maxxam Insurance rep Trevor were all extremely easy to work with, accommodating, and experienced in their roles. Would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I had a great experience buying my car here from start to finish. The whole process was easy and smooth. I went in to test drive the car one evening and was able to drive it home the very next day. Max and my salesperson Aidan were both helpful, straightforward, and made everything feel low-stress and well organized.
I brought the car in today for a detail and mentioned a vibration I’d noticed since buying it. I originally thought it was just from sitting on the lot for awhile, but they checked it properly and found a rusted brake pad/rotor causing the issue. They fixed it at no charge, which I really appreciated.
Every department I dealt with was professional and friendly — from sales to service. Big thanks to Josh in the service department for taking care of the repair today. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a vehicle and solid after-sale support.

Took car in for routine oil change as part of purchase agreement at Harris Dealership! I live by Hillside Mall, dealership is in Langford, not far but not overly convenient either! Setting up the appointment was easy, customer service on the phone great and friendly! However once I got to my appointment, service advisors weren’t very friendly, nor helpful. And to top it off, once I picked up my vehicle and got back into town the service light came on in my dash advising servicing was required in 1200 kms.
Hmm…isn’t that part of a routine oil change? Now it’s up to me to head back out to Langford to have it reset! Not very convenient and could have been avoided if job was done as it should have been in the first place!
UPDATE - the dealership has been in touch with me to rectify this situation and I’m happy and appreciative with the solution they have offered, and as such will return. Thank you.
An absolutely HUGE thank you to Alex, Nicole and Aiden at Harris Dodge for getting me into a 2022 Gladiator. They made it super easy and smooth especially for being 12 hours away from each other. You guys rock and I will be dealing strictly with Harris Dodge from now on. We went here about a year and a half ago with our two-year-old ram Pro master it was the worst experience a nightmare really
they gave us back. The van with the intake hose disconnected they had overfilled the transmission, causing internal damages. they performed transmission flush, despite it was only two years old. on top of all of this,
they overfilled the new transmission fluid over it’s capacity all of this has been recorded and documented

We felt that it was only right to let others know before it happens to other
innocent people
Think twice about using these People to do any simple maintenance as they proved they do not know what they’re doing
We bought a car here, the day we walked in everything went smooth and was a great experience. We then had some unfortunate communication issues while processing our payment. Since it involved international money transfer. After some prompting via a negative review. They reached out to us, to assure us they were working on things behind the scenes, to the best of their abilities. This lead to the feeling that things could have been handled better but we appreciated the willingness and effort to make us feel better about this. From then on it was clear there was a miss understanding, and they really put some over the top effort in. They were very communicative, and we felt they really cared to make us feel reassured and valued. The sales team was great too, so overall we are quite satisfied and happy to have our beautiful new car!
