I'm not a customer, but while passing through the area, a vehicle caught my eye. Making a slight detour, I was able to admire a beautiful, fully restored 1983 Toyota pickup. It was a feast for the eyes. I also happened to see other limited-production cars there.
This is my first time going to a garage, they give me a quote of $1600, I agree to the repairs and boom a message telling me that my car was ready they did not receive the right part and the engine was reset that should have fixed the problem. I go to the checkout and I pay a bill of $380 to my great surprise the car is still the same with the engine light on. I ask for a refund they tell me that I will not be reimbursed unfortunately. Because I was not consulted before resetting the engine. Really since then I am afraid of this dealership
It's a wonderful company with trustworthy people. They're honest and helpful. They have a genuine sense of purpose.
On two occasions, they offered me a solution that took me into account.

I didn't think anyone could lie to me and trick me into a Toyota dealership. Terrible !
Very picky about the "mechanical" inspection (everything except mechanical), they only looked at the aesthetics of my vehicle saying that it was dangerous even though I had a member of staff come just before who made me believe that he doesn't really look at the bodywork! The mechanics and all the major points of the inspection of my car were A1 but they managed to give me a bill of $2200 for nonsense that was in no way dangerous.
I have been going to Amos Toyota for years and have always had excellent service.
Not great service making me wait for my car all day for practically nothing.
This is the last time I'm going there.
Very bad experience. However, I had always had good service in the past at Amos Toyota. It is for this reason that I returned.
I had 4 jobs to do on my Kia Sportage yesterday afternoon:
1) Problem with my air conditioning. No cold air coming out.
We did the analysis to tell me that I had 2-3 leaks. We couldn't change the o-rings so I didn't get any results. I paid 45 minutes instead of 30 minutes for verification. I would have liked someone to show me where the leaks are so that I don't feel like I paid for nothing.
2) Vehicle alignment.
I didn't have a before and after lineup report.
3) Change front left caliper and removal of a broken bolt.
I had taken the trouble to ask the technician if this would take a long time to do because I was ready to do the work myself if it was going to take more than an hour. We took about 1h30 for this task.
4) Verification of the condition of the rear calipers and change of discs and pads if necessary.
I had asked for the condition of my rear calipers to be checked. If my calipers were good, we had to change my discs and pads. So we tried to remove a caliper and broke a bolt. Then, someone came to see me to tell me that the calipers were finished and that they had to be replaced. They wanted me to buy calipers at the last minute at $160 each. I refused to go any further since it had taken about 1h30 to remove a caliper and the disc on one of my rear wheels. In principle, they should have taken that time off my bill because they didn't do anything I asked. Now I walk around with a caliper that only has one bolt.
Total invoice $718.57 (labour). It's probably only the alignment work that would have satisfied me if I had the report. Again, my car brews more than before from 100 km/h. He came out of the garage worse than he came in. I should have stayed in Matagami at home and I would have saved $718.57.

TRÈS DÉÇU du service a la clientèle! La veille, mon conjoint et moi allons porter le véhicule au concessionnaire puisqu'il a un RV pour installer le blociteur et démarreur a distance et changement d'huile le lendemain. Je prend la peine de m'informer le matin pour savoir quand l'auto va être prête durant la journée :vers 12h max 13h. Je prends la peine de spécifier que je me retrouve sans véhicule a amos a attendre... L'auto a été prête a 16h !!! J'ai téléphoné 4 fois pour savoir si l'auto était prête.. on me répond ha ds un heure.. mais des heures après toujours pas prêt! Ne prête pas d'auto a leur client... Bien meilleur service après vente dans d'autres concessionnaires !!!!!
